Work hours:Full Time - Nights Sunday through Wednesday 2100-0630.

We specialize in comprehensive medical/surgical care cancer care womens services behavioral healthneurosciences and emergency medicine. Plus were a Level III neonatal intensive care unit Level III Maternal Newborn care unit and a Level III Trauma Center. Texas Health Arlington Memorial is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center a Chest PainCenter and a Heart Failure Center. Weve been recognized by the American Heart Association with a Gold Plus award for the exceptional care we provide to our stroke heart failure and chest pain patients. What Youll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.(Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required. CLIAFE)
Six (6) months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy is highly preferred.
PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician is preferred upon hire.
What Youll Do
For those entities performing phlebotomy employees follow laboratory procedure for specimen collection patient identification and labeling as appropriate for the age of the patient
Performs procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
Reports and evaluates test results
Helps other hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care
