Job Summary

Description

The Behavioral Health Specialistwill provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. The BHS will supervise and facilitate daily milieu of programs/services as assigned such as assisting with activities of daily living skills facilitating educational and community/recovery groups and activity therapy. Read and implement a clients treatment plan. Provide clients with positive cues and redirection.

Shift:

  • Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday
  • Hours to be determined

Minimum Qualifications ($17.00/hour):

  • Bachelors or masters degree no experience necessary OR

  • Associate degree plus one(1) years behavioral health work experience OR

  • High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certificationplus two(2) years of behavioral health work experience OR

  • High School Diploma or GED plus four (3) years of behavioral health work experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ drivers license with a clean or acceptable driving record.

  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
