Purpose of the Job
- Definition and implementation of Sourcing strategy for Engineering Software
- Manage global supplier panel relationship for Engineering Software
- Responsible for commodity maturity development with efficient sourcing and purchasing measures leveraging Alstoms procurement tools
- Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation
- Animate Saving Plan and continuous improvement of total cost of ownership for spend within commodity
Main responsibilities
- Support commodity management
- Represent Engineering Software commodity
- Consolidate commodity needs and sourcing demands
- Build and propose differentiation for AT through supplier innovation
- Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Participate to Make or Buy decision process when relevant
- Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
- Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
- Is involved on operational tasks
- Monitor Buyer activity on specific segment
- Has an operational procurement responsibility on negotiation
- Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost Volume bundling Global contracts best cost country solutions and panel reduction
