JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Elementary School is seeking a part-time (0.6) physical education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to their Catholic faith demonstrate competency with the redesigned curriculum and be willing to work in a team atmosphere guiding our students to receive the support of our dedicated education assistants. At our school we prioritize fostering a collaborative environment where our educators work closely together to instill our core values as we develop and deliver an engaging curriculum. The successful candidate would be responsible for teaching PE to all students in Kindergarten to Grade 7 as well as assist with athletic directorship.

As well all staff at our school are expected to take part in extracurricular programs and activities that may align with your interests.

On an on-going basis we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics non-Catholics new education grads and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
