CVIC has an opening for one counseling graduate student to complete a masters level internship with our Therapy Services team for Fall 2026-Spring 2027. The internship will primarily provide therapy for adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This is an unpaid internship.
Required hours: 20 hours per week during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be added during the evening to co-facilitate a support group
Length of Internship: This is a two-semester internship beginning in the fall of 2026 and ending at the end of spring 2027.
Supervision: The counseling intern will receive weekly supervision from the Director of Adult Therapy Services
who has a Masters degree in counseling and is licensed by the NDBCE. Additionally the intern will receive group supervision one to two times per month.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the day-to-day operations including database entry providing emotional support advocacy and individual/group therapy to clients in the Therapy addition collaborating with other agencies to provide resources to clients.
