An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Uniform Fitter/Storeperson.
This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to carry out the measurement and fitting of bespoke and off the peg uniform and equipment for a wide variety of Police officer and Police staff roles within the force. This will be carried out in accordance with force procedures and protocols.
The successful candidate will process requisitions ready for the picking issuing and packaging of uniform and non-uniform items. There is also a requirement to undertake stocktaking duties process exchanges returns and the disposal of returned uniform and non-uniform equipment as directed.
To deal promptly and safely with incoming deliveries including unloading and checking of goods signing advice notes and placing items into stock updating the stores record system as appropriate.
Based in the Uniform Stores the successful candidate should be aware that this role will involve a large element of manual handling.
