Specialist Corporate Social Responsibility
San Mateo CA (hybrid) -will require two days in the office per week
As Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) continues to grow and evolve we are committed to creating impact beyond gaming driving positive social change and helping protect the planet for future generations. SIE is building a new multidisciplinary Environment Social and Governance (ESG) team to strengthen how we address our environmental and corporate social responsibility (CSR) priorities across the business.

We are seeking a CSR Specialist to join our team in San this role you will support and help advance SIEs ESG initiatives with a primary focus on social impact programs including accessibility online safety and inclusive-by-design initiatives. The CSR Specialist will serve as a key contributor to the ESG team working cross-functionally with teams across the organization and supporting CSR activities across multiple geographies. This role will also contribute to ESG data collection analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support cross-functional accessibility safety and CSR working groups to help teams deliver on ESG commitments
Lead data collection monitoring and evaluation related to SIEs accessibility and inclusive-by-design frameworks
Monitor and analyze international accessibility online safety and CSR policy trends including proposed legislation codes of practice and best-practice standards; summarize insights and share findings with CSR and ESG leadership
Support management of the PlayStation Cares employee giving and volunteering program through Benevity including review of giving and volunteer opportunities in-kind product donations and corporate donation requests
Assist in aligning employee and corporate giving initiatives with day-to-day operations in partnership with Legal HR Communications and Finance teams
Support management of the strategic grants portfolio including nonprofit partner nominations onboarding and ongoing monitoring
Contribute to the drafting of ESG-related reports and content for internal external and governmental reporting requirements
Draft internal and external CSR communications including employee giving campaigns and humanitarian aid and disaster-relief efforts in coordination with Communications teams
Provide additional administrative and operational support including responding to internal and external requests related to philanthropic and CSR activities
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in social impact CSR social enterprise or nonprofit work; experience with Benevity is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build positive working relationships across a matrixed organization
Experience working with internal and external partners; background in nonprofit technology or entertainment industries preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of integrity strong work ethic and a genuine passion for contributing to positive social impact
