We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our Wholesale team in the Accounting Department with on-site presence across two locations (Heraklion HQ & Karelas warehouse). You will bring a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive approach to supporting day-to-day financial activities. Our main mission is to support the business accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and to provide solutions for tax accounting and financial issues. This is a chance to be part of a rapidly growing team in a company that is revolutionizing the wholesale trade and distribution industry.
What youll do:
Cash handling and daily cash reconciliations
Collection and reconciliation of cash receipts from company drivers
Processing payments to suppliers
Bank reconciliations and monitoring bank accounts
Communication and coordination with banks
Ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with internal procedures
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications :
BA in Accounting/Economics or similar field
3 years of experience in a similar role (cashiers treasury etc.)
Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent communicational and organizational skills
Team spirit and high sense of responsibility
Flexibility and ability to solve problems
Good sense of responsibility and commitment to confidentiality
Highest levels of integrity
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking innovation and dedication
