Job Summary

Were looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial data. Youll work closely with different departments providing financial insights and contributing to process improvements.
What Youll Do:
Maintain and oversee the chart of accounts ensuring accurate financial records and monthly provisions
Handle fixed assets accounting ensuring proper tracking depreciation and reporting
Manage accruals reconciliations and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Analyze financial reports to ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
Support the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors
Work with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with accounting tax and statutory regulations
Handle ad hoc financial requests across departments
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Assist with system enhancements and modifications to improve financial reporting
Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members fostering a collaborative work environment
Qualifications :
- BA in Accounting Finance or a related field
3-5 years of accounting experience (Big 4 experience is a plus)
Professional qualification or working towards ACCA ACA is highly regarded
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to accuracy confidentiality and meeting deadlines
