Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking aModernized Software BaselineLeadEngineertobe responsible fordesigning and developing modernized M&S capabilities thatrepresentoperationally relevant behaviors and mission scenarios.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and architect model behaviorsrepresentingoperationally relevant capabilities using AFSIM or other M&S frameworks.

Lead development of modernized software solutions supporting military planning operations and wargaming.

Integrate modern software solutions with cloud-based services and RESTful architectures.

Support development testing and sustainment of modernized M&S systems.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 8 years relevant experience or

Associates degree and 10 years relevant experience or

12 years relevant experience:

7 years of relevant software development experience using C AFSIM Python web services and other applicable languages.

Experience with cloud-based services (AWS Azure) and/or RESTful architectures.

2 years of experience supporting military planning operations and wargaming.

Active Secret Clearance

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Experience modernizing legacy M&S systems.

Familiarity with Joint or operational-level simulation frameworks.

Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

Friendly presence helpful attitude good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Word Excel and other Office applications

Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users onfrequentlyasked technical issues.

Ability to provide technicalassistanceand support over the phone; good phone skills professional demeanor andpreviouscustomer service experience strongly desired.

Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
