McWane Ductile- New Jersey-Finishing Supervisor

Job Summary:

Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in finishing of cast iron pipe

Pay rate between $75000 to $85000. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following other duties may be assigned.

• Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Capable of functioning under stressful situations and a multi-task environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problems are solved by the application of previously learned experiences.
• Able to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
• Examine material at various stages of production
• Observe machinery
• Interpret specifications
• Adjust work procedures
• Suggest changes in work conditions
• Resolve work problems
• Maintain time and production records
• Interpret specifications
• Adjust work procedures
• Suggest changes in work conditions
• Resolve work problems
• Maintain time and production records
• Ensure production levels are adequate
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure consistent production
• Direct supervise 15-20 employees
• Insuring training JSA Pure Safety Safety Talks are completed daily weekly monthly.
• Safety Audits
• Lock out Tag out procedures
• Discipline of hourly staff
• Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations
• Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable law.
• Pure Safety

Qualifications :

The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level ability and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. • High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years previous supervisory experience in production environment
• Strong Computer Skills
