Lead Security Officer

Responsibilities

Youll play a vital part in keeping people property and information safe. 

In this role you will ensure security staff are fully trained licensed and compliant while overseeing accurate reporting incident management and investigations. You will monitor staff performance and wellbeing provide motivational supervision and supporting recruitment onboarding recognition and performance management. The role also involves maintaining compliance with company and client policies assisting the Contract Management Team with improvements and managing security equipment such as keys radios and control systems. You will carry out regular site checks inspections and patrols maintain strong communication with management clients and the security team and promote a safe secure working environment aligned with company values.

This role requires strong leadership effective selfmanagement and decision making and clear communication with stakeholders. You must demonstrate solid business and commercial awareness a commitment to operational excellence and strong customer and sales awareness to support client relationships. Success in this role also relies on effective relationship building and consistently taking ownership delivering results acting respectfully empowering others leading by example and driving innovation.

• Over 35 years professional security experience
• Valid SIA Licence
• Strong communication skills and professional conduct IT competence (Word Excel Outlook).
• Relevant security experience with leadership skills Customer Service training.
• Ability to handle confidential matters and adapt to changing priorities.
• Right to work in the UK ability to provide a full 5year employment/education history.
• Health & Safety knowledge First Aid certification.
• Highly computer literate including the use of access control and security software
• Customer servicedriven with excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
