Customer Platforms Director (12-month Fixed Term Contract)
As Customer Platforms Director you will shape and deliver ONTs digital strategy to drive customer engagement growth and operational excellence. Youll lead digital transformation initiatives champion a customer-first mindset and oversee all customer-facing digital platforms including websites community e-commerce onboarding and omnichannel experiences.
This leadership role involves working closely with marketing IT product sales and business platforms. Youll build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team across UX/UI web content and analytics manage external partners and budgets and clearly articulate digital strategy and performance to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute the overarching digital strategy to drive growth engagement and self-service efficiency
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organisation
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
Leadership & Culture
- Build lead and inspire a multidisciplinary digital team
- Foster a collaborative innovative high-performance culture
Digital Platforms & Experience
- Own and optimise all digital touchpoints including websites community e-commerce onboarding and omnichannel experiences
- Champion UX/UI best practices and user-centric design
Performance & Analytics
- Define track and report core digital performance metrics
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve digital effectiveness
Stakeholder Vendor & Budget Management
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing IT product and sales
- Present digital strategy and performance to senior stakeholders
- Manage vendors agencies licences and digital budgets to ensure effective resource allocation
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelors degree in Digital Marketing Business Computer Science or related field
- 7 years experience in senior digital leadership roles with responsibility for strategy and transformation
- Proven delivery of large-scale digital platforms (web apps e-commerce)
- Strong experience leading multidisciplinary digital teams
- Deep understanding of digital ecosystems including UX/UI SEO/SEM e-commerce and analytics
- Strong analytical communication stakeholder vendor and budget management skills
- Strategic customer-first results-driven mindset with a passion for developing digital talent
Desirable:
- Masters degree (MBA Digital Transformation or related)
- Relevant certifications (Agile/Scrum Google Analytics Adobe Digital Marketing Institute)
- Experience in large customer-focused or regulated organisations
- Global or multi-region digital platform experience
- Exposure to AI-driven digital innovation
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce Storyblok and Qualtrics
- Knowledge of GDPR accessibility and digital compliance standards
