Job Description:

Were currently looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker or Bench Joiner to join a well-established company in Didcot renowned for producing high-quality bespoke furniture. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working in a collaborative workshop environment this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

About the Role:

Produce bespoke furniture and joinery pieces according to detailed design specifications.
Confidently work with a range of hardwoods and softwoods applying the appropriate finishes and treatments.
Use various woodworking machines and hand tools with precision and care.
Work closely with the design team to bring unique furniture concepts to life.
Keep your workspace clean safe and well-organised following all health and safety guidelines.
Conduct quality checks and carry out any necessary repairs to maintain high standards.
Play an active role in supporting a positive team-oriented workshop environment.

What Were Looking For:

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker ideally in a bespoke furniture setting.
Strong proficiency with woodworking tools and machinery.
A keen eye for detail and dedication to producing excellent work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Good problem-solving abilities and confidence working independently.
Knowledge of different timbers and their properties.
Reliable hardworking and able to manage time effectively.
A team player with strong communication skills.
Previous experience with custom or one-off projects is a plus.
