Job Summary

As the HSE Lead at ClearWater you will leverage your deep understanding of OHS regulations to promote a safety-focused culture among employees and subcontractors ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and providing technical expertise in environment health and safety. This position requires flexibility for maintenance projects and frequent travel to remote sites. 

What would you be doing 

  • Lead and continuously improve the companys health and safety programs including policy updates Safety Management Plans and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams clients and regulatory bodies to maintain safe work environments and support emergency response facility security and required safety registries.
  • Support key certification and audit processes (COR/COHR) including internal and external audits corrective action planning and training requirements.
  • Conduct inspections hazard analyses and incident investigations ensuring unsafe conditions are addressed and trends are communicated to management.
  • Manage safety communications and reporting including monthly safety messages incident statistics and daytoday safety equipment and program needs.

Qualifications :

  • Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with HSE Management Systems and audit tools including Alberta Partnerships Certificate of Recognition (COR).
  • Relevant safety tickets: WHMIS CSTS-09 H2S Alive Fall Protection and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • Ability to lead a team of HSE Advisors effectively.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
