We are seeking a strategic and hands-on SEO & GEO Lead with over 4 years of experience to lead our organic growth across our US and Canadian brands. Operating within an Agile framework you will drive the execution of SEO and GEO initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects ensuring every technical and content optimizations align with our rapid delivery cycles.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual expert who can translate complex data into clear business value while collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders such as developer and content teams.
What Youll Be Doing
Strategy & Growth
Design and own the organic growth strategy ensuring alignment with SEA (Paid Search) and with overall business goals and KPIs.
Provide strategic direction for on-page optimization including metadata structured data/schema internal linking content frameworks and more ensuring semantic and technical excellence.
Develop and deploy localized SEO strategies for the Canadian and American markets.
Lead ongoing monitoring and reporting of organic and AI-driven search performance.
Establish SEO playbooks checklists and QA processes to ensure technical and content standards are maintained across all brands.
Train cross-functional teams on technical SEO and content standards.
Content
Lead keyword research and semantic optimizations.
Create SEO content briefs to inform the copywriting team balancing user engagement (UX) with search discoverability.
Technical SEO & Architecture
Conduct advanced technical audits focusing on crawlability indexability site architecture and performance fundamentals (Core Web Vitals).
Oversee the end-to-end SEO lifecycle within Agile sprints from drafting technical specifications to performing final QA ensuring recommendations are implemented correctly.
GEO & AI Innovation
Research and integrate optimization techniques for AI-powered search results (AEO/GEO) to improve citations within LLMs and conversational engines.
Adapt content frameworks to balance traditional search excellence with AI-ready technical foundations.
What You Bring To The Team
4 years of proven SEO experience
Professional proficiency in both English and French is required to manage North American market research and execution.(The employee will collaborate with stakeholders outside of Quebec.)
Deep understanding of CMS architecture (Strapi/Drupal/Storyblok) and the ability to navigate HTML/CSS/JS environments.
High-level proficiency in analytics tools such as GA4 Tableau and Google Search Console as well as SEO tools such as SEMRush BrightEdge Screaming Frog YourText Guru and more.
Experience working in Agile collaborating with cross functional teams and squads and working closely with product owners and product managers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. Capable of translating complex SEO data into clear actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
