From overseeing day-to-day operations to setting and implementing strategic objectives you will play a pivotal role in driving the hotels success. You will also be the face of the hotel and be involved in the operation cultivating strong relationships with guests partners and stakeholders to uphold the reputation of ibis budget Gosford.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Leading the overall management and strategic direction of ibis budget Gosford
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders predominantly owners guests and suppliers
- Ensure long term profitability of the operational departments and the hotel maximising revenue and yielding opportunities.
- Conduct regular analysis on all departments to continuously improve productivity quality market competitiveness and service standards.
- Develop inspire and lead team members to create a great place to work that embodies our Heartist culture.
- Administrative duties for two days per week and front desk operations for three days per week.
Qualifications :
A qualification in hotel management hospitality management commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.
About you
- Previous experience as an Operations or Hotel Manager
- The ability to provide strategic thought processes and direction to build market performance and business outcomes.
- Proven strong and successful Ownership relationships.
- Strong ability to develop lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals.
- Excellent project management abilities
- A strong focus on customer service and passionate about guest experience.
- Demonstrates accuracy in financial reporting with a high level of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Opera Cloud (Preferred but not essential)
- Ability to live on the premises with employer-provided accommodation (Preferred but not essential)
- To fulfill on-call responsibilities when necessary.
