Are you detail-oriented organized and passionate about helping creative professionals thrive Were looking for a Remote Payroll Assistant to support our team of performing arts consultants by managing payroll processes with accuracy and care.
We are dedicated to empowering the vibrant community of performing arts consultants who bring creativity and expertise to stages everywhere. Our mission is to ensure they can focus on their artistry while we handle the important behind-the-scenes work.
What Youll Do
Process payroll accurately and on time for consultants and contractors across multiple projects
Maintain up-to-date records of hours payments and tax documentation
Collaborate closely with finance and HR teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and employment regulations
Provide friendly and timely support to consultants with payroll-related questions
Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed
Who You Are
Experienced in payroll processing preferably with remote or freelance teams
Comfortable working with payroll software and spreadsheets
Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
Able to communicate clearly and empathetically in a remote environment
A problem solver who stays calm under pressure and meets deadlines
Passionate about supporting the performing arts or creative industries (a big plus!)
