Job Summary
Our client is recruiting for a CNC operator / supervisor - The purpose of this position is the operation and maintenance of the CNC Turning Centre to achieve precise and efficient machining operations. You will ensure high-quality outputs machine efficiency and adhere to safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret technical drawings.
- Set up on control programming and operate CNC turning machines.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency.
- Manage CNC tools to achieve optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools.
- Ensure production orders are fulfilled.
- Document production activities and keep accurate records of outputs and machine performance.
- Reporting of maintenance issues to the Factory Manager.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
QUALITY CONTROL
- Ensure finished products are according to standard and specification.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Machine setup precision measurement machine maintenance and quality control.
- MS Office computer skills and AutoCAD (an advantage).
- The ability to manage time efficiently.
- Extremely organised and detail oriented.
- An aptitude for solving problems.
- Seek solutions to problems while maintaining high quality standards.
