Our client is a global company in Food & Beverage Sector they are looking for a results-oriented Customer Development Manager to lead the business in supermarket channel in Hong Kong.
In this pivotal role you will be the key driver of partnership with major supermarket accounts. You will develop and execute joint business plans leveraging data-driven insights to optimize sales profitability and category leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Leadership: Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and strategic initiatives with key supermarket customers to achieve sales targets and mutual growth objectives.
- Customer Partnership: Build and nurture strong influential relationships with customer decision-makers acting as a trusted advisor focused on shopper-centric solutions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market data consumption and shipment trends to generate actionable insights identify growth opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Commercial Excellence: Manage trade investment budgets effectively negotiate customer agreements to maximize ROI and deliver on investment efficiency targets.
- Forecasting & Planning: Develop accurate sales forecasts and operational plans to ensure optimal in-store execution and supply chain alignment.
What Were Looking For:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3-4 years of key account management or sales experience preferably within the FMCG industry and with supermarket/hypermarket customers.
- Proven track record in negotiating selling and executing customer plans that deliver on both company and client objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent numerical and analytical skills; experience managing budgets is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term influential relationships both internally and externally.
- A proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to assess needs overcome challenges and close deals that create mutual value.
- Experience in field sales category management or customer marketing is highly advantageous
