About the role.
As Maintenance Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in keeping our manufacturing site running safely efficiently and reliably. You will plan and oversee daily maintenance activities manage work orders and provide hands-on technical support alongside clear supportive day-to-day leadership for your team.
You are a data-driven safety-first leader who champions preventive maintenance and continuous improvement. By fostering a culture of respect accountability and excellence you will empower your team to focus on improving plant reliability and applying lean principles to reduce waste and downtime.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the action balancing strategy with practical execution and who takes pride in building a high-performing maintenance team that delivers dependable results for the site.
Whatyoullbe doing.
Scheduleallocate and oversee all maintenance resources including external contractors as needed.
Review and manage maintenance work orders ensuring backlog is addressed on time and prioritising tasks based on operational requirements.
Track team capacity and activity through SAP and Prometheus CMMS ensuringaccurateandtimelydata.
Communicate defectsand requirements to planners during planning and scheduling meetings.
Act as a liaison to theoperationsteamfacilitatingwork plan communication and completion of plannedwork.
Participate in DAM/RTM daily meetings to align maintenance priorities with production and stakeholder requirements.
Manage spare parts inventory balancing availability cost control and specification compliance.
Providehands-on technical guidance coaching and day-to-day leadership to your team.
Contribute tosuccession planning and support global best practices via auditing and compliance initiatives.
Support implementation of advanced condition-based maintenance strategies.
Foster a culture of respect accountability and can-do thinking deliveringhigh levelsof service.
Cover maintenance shiftswhenrequired where appropriately qualified.
Whatyoullneed to be successful.
At least 10 years experience working within an FMCG environment.
Minimum 7 years supervisory leadership experience.
Extensive contractor and high-risk work management experience.
Proven history as a confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
Recognised trade qualification in an electrical or mechanical field.
High-level computer literacy and data analysis capability.
Working knowledge of condition-based maintenance.
SAP CMMS experience and effective negotiation/influencing skills.
Advanced Excel and Prometheus exposure preferred.
Lean manufacturing exposure (TPM Six Sigma) highly regarded.
A strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety with a genuine commitment to safe outcomes.
