Job Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Supervisor to lead one of our Auckland teams. Reporting to the Branch Manager youll help run the day-to-day operations of the site support your team and make sure work is completed safely and on time.
This role suits someone who is mechanically minded enjoys working in a practical environment and is confident leading a team of around 10 - 12 people. Youll help keep product moving the machinery running solve problems as they arise and support your team to do their best work. Based in Wiri Auckland Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm. Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and support a team of 1012 staff
- Keep the site running smoothly and safely
- Troubleshoot and help maintain machinery when issues arise
- Manage daily workloads and support staff training
- Make practical decisions to keep operations moving
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to improve productivity
Qualifications :
Youll be someone who enjoys working with people and being hands-on. You may already be a supervisor or be ready to step up into your first leadership role. Youll also bring:
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Your physically fit with a hands-on approach to work
- Experience in a manufacturing workshop or industrial environment
- A positive team-focused leadership style
- Clear communication and the ability to keep people on track
- An F endorsement (Forklift licence) willingness to obtain one
