Location:Sapporo Hokkaido or our sales offices in Japan
Main purpose of the job:
- Collect market customer and dealer feedback to contribute to product development continuous improvement and customer success. Represent APAC customer needs in alignment with global AMS portfolio processes
- Provide professional guidance on AMS solution positioning commercial value articulation and customer engagement strategy. Recommend AMS solution configuration market readiness requirements and capability building plans.
- Act as the regional commercial and solution expert for Automated Milking System (AMS) technologies across the APAC region.
- Strengthen sales dealer and technical teams capability to effectively position sell and support DeLaval AMS solutions aligning with the portfoliodriven responsibilities. Support launch readiness market education and adoption of AMSrelated services tools and digital platforms.
- Drive AMS business growth by integrating solution knowledge into commercial activities customer engagements and pipeline development.
Primary responsibilities:
Portfolio & Commercial Support
- Develop sales support & marketing material and competence development material to develop sales skills of market area teams.
- Support launch of AMS services and complementary solutions.
- Maintain an active information network among APAC dairy industry stakeholders.
Market Development & Customer Engagement
- Support key customer presentations onfarm demonstrations and solution scoping for AMS projects.
- Participate in customer visits with sales and dealers to improve conversion rates and solution quality.
- Benchmark AMS performance outcomes with topperforming farms in the regional market.
Training & Capability Building
- Deliver structured training for sales service and dealer teams on commercial and support technical training aspects of AMS solutions.
- Develop advisory/training support documents tailored for AMS solution selling.
- Build longterm capability to increase AMS competence.
Market Analysis & Product Lifecycle Feedback
- Support market analysis and assessment of future AMS technology development.
- Collect feedback from farmers dealers and internal teams on AMS functionality usability and improvement needs.
- Provide structured input to global solution managers and PMD.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Collaborate across Sales Service Channel Marketing and Solution teams to ensure consistent AMS execution.
- Support the integration of AMS into customer value models ROI scenarios and solution selection tools.
Education:
Bachelors degree or above in Animal or dairy Science Electrical Automation Mechatronics Agricultural Engineering or other relevant technical fields
Minimum No of years of experience:
- Minimum 5 years automation or industrial robotics experience
- Experience in commercial solution selling dealer support or farmtechnology deployment preferred.
- AMS or automation experience in dairy strongly preferred
Min. Managerial experience or specific skills required:
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to develop business/customer relationships.
- Ability to train and influence crossfunctional and crossmarket teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical thinking data interpretation skills and commercial problem solving.
- Proactive communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
- Flexibility selfmotivated and capable of working independently.
- Computer literate. MS office software knowledge is essential.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
