What this position entails

The Product Manager will have an integral role in driving the strategy for IntelliScripts Curv product portfolio. This customer-facing role partners with sales marketing and relationship management to discover market needs and inform the product roadmap. As a Product Manager collaborating with an Agile team of Software Developers Quality Assurance Engineers and System Architects you will help bring the Curv product vision to life through the continued growth and enhancement of our core products that drive value for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have big ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most importantly we need a Product Manager who can help us build better products.

What you will be doing

  • Develop an understanding of IntelliScripts business clients and market diversification strategy
  • Drive new feature and new product development for Millimans Curv suite of products focused on applying machine-learning and AI to estimate healthcare cost and evaluate morbidity and mortality risk
  • Work closely with Agile team members and be the final arbiter of requirements conflicts and/or questions surrounding priority and requirements
    • Defines the acceptance criteria for all user stories
    • Accept/reject the delivered code from within each sprint
  • Responsible for the prioritization and development of ongoing bug fixes technical enablers and product enhancements and creating and prioritizing user stories within the team backlog
  • Serve as the Agile teams single-point-of-contact on behalf of business stakeholders / users / customers
  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs refines priorities outlines milestones and deliverables and identifies opportunities and risks
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders/users/customers
    • Continually engages and communicates with business stakeholders / users / customers on forthcoming deliverables so that their feedback is incorporated as part of sprint planning
    • Lead team scrums to define product vision roadmap and growth opportunities and communicate with stakeholders across the product lifecycle
    • Negotiates priorities between competing stakeholder interests at the user story level and then collaborates with team to ensure that the highest value deliverables are completed within the sprint
    • Translate feedback from clients via the Curv sales and relationship management team to future product features

What we need

  • 4 years of professional experience in one of the following industries: software healthcare insurance clinical trials or similar fields
  • Experience working with Jira or other Agile Project Management tools
  • Ability to focus development teams to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality product deliverables
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
  • Strong sense of curiosity paired with open-minded strategic thinking and a constructive can-do approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles in support of stakeholder needs.

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is April 1 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings conferences and team events (up to 15%).

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $104900 - $249780. A combination of factors will be considered including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.

For candidates residing in:

  • Alaska California Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York City Pennsylvania Virginia Washington or the District of Columbia:
    • $120635 - $199065 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
    • $151340 - $249780 for experience greater than 10 years.
  • All other states:
    • $104900 - $173100 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
    • $131600 - $217200 for experience greater than 10 years.

A combination of factors will be considered including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.
