We are working with an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Brent recruiting for a Science ECT to join a high-performing faculty. This is an opportunity for a Biology Chemistry or Physics specialist to start their career in a school with university-standard laboratories.
The Role You will teach General Science at KS3 and your degree specialism at KS4. The induction program is tailored to Science pedagogy focusing on safe laboratory practice and inquiry-based learning. Key responsibilities include:
Teaching practical-heavy Science lessons across all key stages
Coordinating with a dedicated technician team to execute lab experiments
Participating in weekly pedagogy-focused mentor meetings
Using digital diagnostic tools for student progress tracking
Contributing to STEM enrichment and national Science competitions
