The Role
You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering a carefully sequenced curriculum that balances literature language and literacy development. Planning is shared expectations are clear and you will never be left to figure things out alone.
Your role will include:
Teaching KS3 and GCSE English with access to shared schemes of work
Developing strong classroom routines with support from experienced colleagues
Using feedback and assessment to support pupil progress
Observing experienced teachers and being observed in a supportive coaching-focused way
Taking part in departmental planning and moderation
