A caring and inclusive secondary school in Oldham is seeking a reflective RE ECT to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026.
RE plays an important role in the schools curriculum supporting pupils understanding of belief ethics and contemporary issues.
The Role
You will teach RE across KS3 and KS4 delivering a curriculum that encourages respectful discussion and critical thinking.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching a broad RE curriculum using shared resources
Supporting pupils in written and verbal evaluation
Developing confidence in leading discussion-based lessons
Working closely with your mentor and Humanities colleagues
Participating in whole-school CPD and reflection
