Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage pulmonary and sleep disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Perform procedures related to pulmonology and sleep medicine
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay current with advancements in pulmonology and sleep medicine
- Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a residency in Pulmonology or Sleep Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) 1 week per month
Patient Volume: 9-20 per day
Pulmonology and sleep medicine case mix
Must be able to read sleep studies
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
