As a Hospitalist you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists for coordinated care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
- Participate in rounds and case discussions with the medical team
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Oregon
- Experience in Internal Medicine or hospitalist settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
