Vision Products is seeking an Interim Manager to oversee our Technology and Servicing department which specializes in the supply installation and maintenance of community equipment such as chairs bath lifts hoists and beds. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our department during a period of long-term sickness. The Interim Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team including Admin Engineering and Assistive Technology staff as well as overseeing vehicle and stock management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Admin Engineering and Assistive Technology teams.
- Oversee vehicle and stock management to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety principles.
- Facilitate effective communication within the department.
- Meet deadlines and manage time effectively to maintain department productivity.
Requirements
- Proven management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in engineering (electrical mechanical) or logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety principles.
- Experience with databases and basic IT skills.
- Possession of a full driving license.
