RQ10112 Technology Architect Senior

Skill Set Requirements:

Mandatory Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure to design and implement solutions using cloud native services and architectural patterns available on the platform
  
• Minimum of 7 years of implementation experience with cloud-based service offerings such as SaaS and PaaS including integration between cloud and on premise systems (hybrid cloud)
  
• Experience in designing and implementing Azure identity governance monitoring data storage security networking and integration solutions
  
• Experience in solution design using Azure services including (but not limited to): Azure VMs Azure databases storage accounts Network security groups Azure data lake Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics.
  
• Experience in implementing Azure best practices to optimize for performance & cost
  
• Experience with research option analysis and providing recommendations and strategic advice to senior management based on technical considerations and best practices
  
• Implementation and design experience with integrating Azure services to different partner systems such as Mid-tier/Mainframe using array of protocols such as REST/SOAP API for Web Services
  
• Minimum of 15 years of working experience with industry standard databases that involves database design and modelling PL/SQL development system performance tuning and database administration
  
• Minimum of 7 years on evaluating risk mitigation strategies and architecting cloud-based solutions for high-sensitivity data assets
  
• Minimum of 7 years of working experience with different cloud-based resources/assets to develop interoperability solutions/integrations within a hybrid cloud environment
  
• Stakeholder management experience to concurrently manage relationships with Corporate Security / Architecture Privacy Office CIO Office Program Management Office Steering Committees and Funding Approval Boards and directors across multiple lines-of-business.
  
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation including facilitation of agile sessions while managing partnership with external vendors and system integrators
  
• Experience with integration to Siebel-based systems
  
• Implementation and project execution experience in a hybrid-agile delivery model

OPS Experience

Experience working in accordance with policies and procedures of Ontario Public Service
