For Linklaters Global Solutions Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the Learning & Development Team Lead role.
Work arrangements:
Hybrid model work: 2 days per week from the office located next to Rondo ONZ
Contract: Permanent employment contract with 3- month probation period
Working hours: The L&D Coordination team typically works standard hours from 9:00 to 17:15. Periodically team members will be required to work in more flexible approach based on the training session that they provide & support.
About the Team
You will join Linklaters Global Solutions (LGS) as part of the Learning & Development (L&D) function a strategically focused globally connected team that supports the firms people to grow and perform at their best. As Learning & Development Team Lead you will manage and develop the L&D Coordination team which will be based across Warsaw and London ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality learning interventions that support the firms global business priorities. You will lead a geographically dispersed team and ensure strong collaboration communication and alignment between team members in Warsaw and London.
In this role you will oversee the coordination and execution of L&D activities ensuring tasks and processes are delivered to a consistently high standard and in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You will work closely with L&D colleagues and stakeholders across regions to provide a seamless learner experience drive operational excellence and promote global consistency in how we deliver learning.
A key part of your remit will be to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency standardise processes and embed robust knowledge sharing. You will play an important role in enabling the L&D function to deliver targeted strategic learning solutions at scale and will report to the Head of People LGS.
As Learning & Development Team Lead you will:
Lead and develop the L&D Co-ordination team ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with agreed SLAs.
Oversee global L&D processes and administration within the LGS scope including budgeting course scheduling and contracting to maximise operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a culture of exceptional customer service continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Manage team performance by setting clear objectives holding regular one-to-ones and overseeing recruitment induction training and absence management.
Plan and allocate resources effectively managing workload distribution and building team capability to optimise current and future performance.
Act as an escalation point for complex queries complaints and requests falling outside standard processes.
Drive standardisation and process improvement across operational and administrative activities leveraging automation and system capabilities to meet SLAs and performance metrics.
Oversee the effective use of the learning management system (LMS) ensuring it supports impactful learning data-driven insight and behaviour change.
Manage course set-up and administration in the LMS to enable efficient delivery of all programmes within the L&D Co-ordination portfolio.
Respond promptly and professionally to L&D queries from stakeholders and participants via telephone email and shared communication platforms.
Ensure the smooth delivery of L&D programmes including client liaison and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a key contact for external providers and suppliers ensuring high-quality service and value for money.
Build strong relationships with L&D Centres of Excellence L&D managers and stakeholders globally encouraging open feedback and collaboration.
Provide specialist operational support to the L&D function to enable successful delivery of global initiatives.
Take financial responsibility for recharging course costs monitoring spend and recharges to avoid financial losses for the firm or department.
Manage challenging conversations around course cancellation charges applying sound commercial judgement when recommending next steps.
Undertake occasional travel to UK and other European offices to support key on-site and off-site learning activities and stakeholder engagement.
Support and coach team members during busy periods promoting a collaborative and resilient team environment.
Apply if you:
Have 2-3 years of experience in leading multi-national L&D operational or administration teams ideally within an HR shared services environment managing high-volume case activity.
Bring strong technical knowledge of core L&D practices processes and documentation across the full learning lifecycle.
Have a strong track record in developing team members and supporting their professional growth.
Are skilled in building and maintaining positive team relationships and managing team dynamics.
Are confident in handling escalations in a calm structured and solution-oriented way.
Enjoy mentoring others and acting as a trusted point of guidance for the team.
Can demonstrate a track record of driving and embedding continuous process improvement within service delivery.
Are confident using English (C1/C2) to engage clearly and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
Are experienced in using case learning management systems such as Workday to enhance service efficiency.
Show excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy and consistency across high-volume processes and data. Good command of Excel & analytical skills is required.
Work effectively and collaboratively across geographies functions and stakeholder groups in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Are highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage competing demands effectively.
Have background in professional services with insight into sector culture and client-service expectations.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel to UK and other European offices at short notice when required in order to support critical learning events team workshops and highpriority stakeholder meetings.
Have a university degree (degree-level education).
