About the role
Manager Psychology Services sits within theChild Wellbeing and Mental Health Services (CWMHS)who focuseson the delivery of student support services including support for students in the areas of child protection disability mental health and wellbeing complex needs as well as behaviour and attendance.
Lead policy and practice for the school counselling service
Providehigh-level advice on professional standards and wellbeing programs
Drive research to improve psychological services in NSW public schools
Build partnerships and work with stakeholders to enhance service delivery
Support professional development induction and evidence-based interventions for students

Experienced in leading policyresearchand evidence-based practice in psychology services

Strong communicator able toprovidehigh-level advice and support professional capability across teams
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the DepartmentsAboriginal Education Policyand upholding theDepartments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGand to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Currentfullregistration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
Working with Children Check for paid employment
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalue of public education.
