This role combines expertise in finance data analytics and technology to enhance decision-making processes streamline financial reporting and provide actionable insights that drive business performance.

The Senior Financial Analytics Professional manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Senior Financial Analytics Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

This role involves Design develop and maintain dashboards reports and data visualizations to support financial analysis and performance tracking. It also involves synthesizing complex financial data sets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. This role also involves process automation through SQL and different technologies.

The Senior Financial Analytics Professional collates models interprets and analyzes data in order to identify explain influence variances and trends.

  • Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques.

  • May possess financial or actuarial background.

  • Begins to influence departments strategy.

  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and work is performed without direction.

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 5 years or more years of analytics experience e.g. SQL & Power BI development Hyperion Anaplan etc.

  • Experience in compiling modeling interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify explain influence variances and trends

  • Must be able to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques

  • Experience working with moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Financial background

  • Masters Degree

Additional Information

You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.

Hybrid/ Office - some office time may be required if within a commutable distance of our Arlington VA or Louisville KY offices.

Work at Home Guidance

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.


$89000 - $121400 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
