The Record to Report (R2R) Department is a global organization of over 650 experienced finance professionals working together to deliver financial services and solutions for Roche across the EMEA region. Our services cover financial management period-end closing capital and lease accounting credit and receivables manufacturing finance and divisional reporting ensuring compliance for 263 reporting entities in 96 countries with accounting standards (IFRS GAAP) and providing assurance of financial integrity.
The Opportunity:
As a Financial Cost Accountant you will be responsible for executing operational tasks related to Supply Chain Accounting Standard Costing and Inventory Valuation for the EMEA Roche Services and Solutions Operations site in Budapest Hungary.
Executing month-end close activities including manual journal entry preparation.
Managing standard costing processes and ensure data quality.
Conducting complex accounting analyses and audits related to supply chain accounting.
Acting as a key contact for affiliates regarding accounting and reporting topics.
Preparing reports and commentary on significant financial matters.
Investigating accounts such as inventory variances and allowances recommending actions as needed.
Ensuring compliance with company policies accounting standards and regulations.
Who you are:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
1.52 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Accounting including Standard Costing and Inventory Valuation.
Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and experience with SAP (FI CO/PA MM PP).
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English
