Job Summary
The Vice President of Security leads the entire Security operation for Caesars Atlantic City serving as the Security Department Manager under New Jersey regulatory requirements. The position oversees Security Operations and Locksmithing ensuring the safety of guests and employees compliance with state regulations and the protection of company assets. The leader is responsible for investigations detainment protocols enforcement of company policies and maintaining strong relationships with law enforcement and internal partners.
Responsibilities
Direct the operation of the Security division in accordance with New Jersey and Company regulations; this position functions as the Security Department Manager pursuant to regulatory requirements
Responsible for the efficient and economic operation of the department while ensuring continuous service improvement
Responsible for enforcement of the law and Company rules and regulations
Responsible for the physical safety of patrons and employees
Responsible for the detainment for probable cause of persons that may be engaged in illegal conduct for the purpose of notifying law enforcement or other authorities
Responsible for the safeguarding of assets transported within the facility and for timely notification of any incidents as required by law
Oversee all investigations conducted by Security personnel ensuring that each incident to which a Security department employee is assigned is properly recorded
Communicate in writing to the credit department of accurate and verifiable information that may be relevant in determining credit worthiness
Establish maintain and control capital and operational budgets for areas of responsibility; develop and implement cost control procedures
Provide leadership direction and support for all employees to achieve property regional and corporate goals
Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and make recommendations for implementation as appropriate
Responsible for developing and implementing service standards
Provide strategic oversight for Atlantic City Region Security departments; recommend best demonstrated practices and efficiencies to property leadership
Responsible for approving appropriate employee transactions (hiring promoting salary adjustments etc)
Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws regulations and Company policies.
Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
Champion within the organization a commitment to honesty integrity and responsible corporate behavior.
Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum ten years security or law enforcement experience with minimum five years in management capacity.
Valid New Jersey drivers license required.

The salary for this position starts at $120000.00 USD which is dependent on several factors including relevant experience geography business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)- matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses and stock program participation.
