DescriptionMaintains and repairs wallpaper drywall and other general maintenance in guest rooms.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties in guest rooms.
- Troubleshoot guest room fixtures and equipment malfunction.
- Take a leadership role in reporting and correcting unsafe work practices or unsafe facility conditions.
- Train and assist area apprentices and engineers in repair procedures and company policy.
- Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Able to be alert in a high-risk environment; follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery and do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs.
- Able to remain open-minded and change opinions on the basis of new information; perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying customer needs.
- Able to be tactful maintain confidences and foster an ethical work environment; prevent inappropriate behavior by coworkers; give proper credit to others; handle all situations honestly.
- Able to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines; establish high standards and measures; do work right the first time and inspect material for flaws; test new methods thoroughly; reinforce excellence as a fundamental priority.

Qualifications- Must have a minimum of two years hotel/casino experience.

- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
