The Opportunity
Our Australian Steel Markets (ASM) business is looking for a skilled Commercial Segment Product Manager to join our Marketing and Market Development team based in Mascot or Port Kembla NSW. At BlueScope our products help shape the buildings and spaces Australians live and work in.
In this exciting role you will contribute to the growth of one of Australias most loved brands within the commercial and industrial segment directly impacting the top and bottom-line performance through the activation of segment marketing plans. Working closely with industry partners architects designers builders and internal stakeholders youll drive the activation of key programs and initiatives to build the equity of COLORBOND steel across the commercial segment.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager youll be joining a friendly and supportive team understanding of the need for work-life balance as you develop your marketing skills to support your long-term career growth.

What Will You Do
Youll build your understanding of the building industry while supporting the delivery of product marketing and communication initiatives across key audiences including architects designers and builders. Youll also:
- support engagement with key audiences and decision-makers through well-executed marketing programs aligned to broader commercial objectives
- build and maintain strong working relationships with industry organisations partners and internal stakeholders
- coordinate and support key industry partnerships events and activations ensuring timelines materials and deliverables are on track
- support research and analysis content development and segment projects
- work closely with the communications team and agency partners to deliver event activities presentations and marketing materials
- manage the detail that underpins successful delivery from planning and administration through to follow-up and reporting

Youre a motivated marketing professional who enjoys working in a practical delivery-focused role and has a genuine interest in the built environment looking to develop a long-term career in a well-disciplined people focused organisation. Youll bring:
- experience in marketing communications or brand roles and an understanding of the B2B environment (e.g. construction or architecture-based industries)
- well-developed organisational and project management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- confidence managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating activity across teams and stakeholders
- a proactive collaborative approach to your work and the ability to keep tasks progressing in a structured and consultative way
- a genuine passion for the built environment and an interest in how products materials and design come together
