Job Summary
To support Purchasing Sales Manufacturing and Engineering in identifying developing and maintaining prototype and pilot-stage supply chains. This role ensures optimized cost logistics and delivery while providing clear communication to stakeholders on component status and project timing.
Primary Duties:
- Assist with Supplier quotations for new development projects suggest optimal supply chain solutions and utilize preferred global suppliers.
- Coordinate prototype and pilot build purchasing activities including PO creation expediting and MRP cost data accuracy.
- Organize and maintain supplier readiness for prototype and pilot builds including expediting PPAP reviews with Quality.
- Communicate project status timing and risks to internal stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain supplier performance preferred supplier lists and support supplier development and transition activities.
- Verify and maintain data integrity in SAP S/4 Hana for new products (weights commodity codes planners).
- Support KPI improvements reporting performance against objectives and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain or related field or 8 years of commensurate experience.
- Experience in Procurement or Purchasing within a manufacturing environment
- Experience making sourcing decisions based on cost quality and delivery
- Knowledge of PPAP ISO 9001 and standard quality requirements
- Experience with MRP systems (Fourth Shift or similar) and SAP S/4 Hana preferred
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel for medium-complexity tracking
