Responsibilities
About the Role:
- Recruit train and support a diverse range of peer mentors throughout the prison estate.
- Managing a volunteer recruitment and support strategy within the service.
- Work closely with Healthcare Prison Security and Offender Management Unit to ensure robust recruitment/selection and risk management processes are in place.
- Oversee supply of Peer Mentor uniform requirements on a rolling basis.
- Administration of the detail to ensure coordination of Peer Mentor involvement in Inductions and co-facilitation of interventions.
About You:
- Experience of working within a prison/criminal justice setting
- Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse cultural issues
