Your Mission

Is the technical expert in a particular field being the reference and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Works independently handling more complex tasks and escalations.

Engages in internal communication and complex interactions with clients and external stakeholders.

Focuses on delivering solutions handling incidents and managing small to mid projects/products.

Initiates and modifies procedures solving problems of mid to high complexity to enhance operational efficiency.

Recognizes and challenges out-of-scope requests from customers and works autonomously within critical phases.

Assesses risks and engages in limited discussions with customers about strategy and scope.

Plans and supervises technical activities and provides cost awareness.

Provides guidance and coaching to lower levels.

Product Development and Knowledge:

- Designs robust automation frameworks for recurring tasks.

- Leads development of custom tools for internal use including model setup and result interpretation.

Task Management:

- Owns technical budget and schedule responsibility for fulfilment of tasks assigned by projects.

- Handle multiple task and coordinate the work of others within the discipline.

- Set priorities.

Bidding and Proposal:

- Provide support in the bidding and proposal process.

- Generate inputs to ECPs (Engineering Change Proposal) and CCNs (Contract Change Notice)

Critical Thinking and Problem solving:

- Anticipates consequences that could arise from technical decision and impact on the business.

- Bring up innovative solutions which is adapted to the company strategy.

- Weight technical challenges together with other business relevant input (e.g. cost timeframe)

PCB Layout:

- Guides/coaches colleagues in case of specific needs of expertise (e.g. power high-speed RF).

- Ability to evaluate the efficiency of the tools and processes used/available to execute the assigned work and to propose improvements

- Has a detailed understanding of the developement process and its tailoring.

PCB Design Analysis:

- Good understanding of the type of analysis in a specific field of PCB layout.

- Ability to provide recommendations to the designer based on the analysis results.

Layout Design Tools:

- Good knowledge about tool handling.

Your Story

Holds a university Masters degree or similar education and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.

Has a broad competence or has a unique depth in some specialist area

In-depth knowledge of specific design needs for e.g. high-speed designs power designs sensitive analog acquisition circuits

Has a good ability to make engineering considerations in order to quickly move forward

Has a good understanding of adjacent areas such as hardware design mechanical design and production including a basic understanding of EMC

Takes the technical budgetary and schedule responsibility for the fulfilment of the assigned engineering tasks including the handover to other disciplines andteams

Can train/coach (junior) engineers

Is up-to-date with PCB layout evolution in his/her area of expertise (including material tools methods standards
