Responsibilities may include the following- Interact with engineers to understand product requirements.
- Refine design limits of product via engineering characterization testing tolerance stack up analysis and other analytical tools as needed.
- Participate in the design and development of test methods and fixtures
- Collaborate with team to conduct and/or support pre-DV and design verification testing.
- Review test data against established acceptance criteria conduct data analysis and write appropriate test documentation.
- Draft and release design drawings and documentation for components and finished goods.
What Youll Bring- Minimum of 2 years of college-level coursework in an engineering discipline & a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Familiar with R&D test equipment used for testing (such as Instron tensile tester Keyence)
- Able to use SolidWorks for drawing and designing tooling fixtures devices and related items
- Knowledge of materials (Polymers Metals Chemicals) as related to medical devices
- Familiarity with CAD machining and rapid prototyping tools a plus tensile simulated use or other test methods related to the project
- Strong organizational skills: management of multiple priorities and timing
- Good interpersonal skills effective communication and partnership with R&D and other departments
