We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer Team Lead to lead the design and development of control systems for satellite platforms. The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with proven leadership skills guiding a multi-disciplinary engineering team through the full product lifecycle of space-qualified systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and verification of satellite control systems (e.g. AOCS power control and actuator/sensor interfaces).
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of electronic and control systems engineers.
- Define system architecture control algorithms and electronic designs compliant with space standards.
- Oversee requirements definition design reviews and technical documentation.
- Support system integration testing and validation at the unit subsystem and satellite levels.
- Interface with systems engineering software mechanical and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant space reliability and safety standards (e.g. ECSS and MIL).
- Contribute to technical roadmaps risk assessments and project planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering Control Engineering Aerospace Engineering or similar.
- 710 years experience in electronic and/or control systems engineering.
- Proven experience with satellite or spaceborne systems.
- Strong background in control theory control system design and implementation.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with electronic design (analog/digital) simulations and testing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time control environments.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
