Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll personal information leave plans turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist with other departments or functions
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by maintaining current postings contacting candidates for hire performing background checks collecting documents for personnel files issuing employment contracts etc.
- Compliance reporting to various agencies
- Perform orientations onboarding and update records with new hires
- Support other functions as assigned
- Maintain Workers Compensation claims and data
Requirements
- Proven experience in a relevant human resources position preferred
- Knowledge of human resources processes preferred
- Strong ability in using MS Office MS Excel
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Education in Business Administration or relevant field preferred; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
