Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll personal information leave plans turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Assist with other departments or functions
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by maintaining current postings contacting candidates for hire performing background checks collecting documents for personnel files issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Compliance reporting to various agencies
  • Perform orientations onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Support other functions as assigned
  • Maintain Workers Compensation claims and data

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a relevant human resources position preferred
  • Knowledge of human resources processes preferred
  • Strong ability in using MS Office MS Excel
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Education in Business Administration or relevant field preferred; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
