About the Role
An international financial services technology platform islooking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its Capital ReportingSystems team. You will work within a Shared Data Ecosystemresponsible for collecting transforming and delivering Accounting Riskand Regulatory data through a centralized Data Warehouse used forregulatory reporting.
This role sits at the heart of Capital Credit RiskIFRS9 FINREP Basel IV Equity Risk and Operational Risk initiatives. Youwill contribute both to project delivery (80%) and productionmonitoring & support (20%) especially during critical monthly andquarterly closing periods.
You will collaborate closely with expert teams based in PortoLisbon and Paris in a highly analytical fast-paced and regulatedenvironment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements identify needs and translate them into User Stories
- Analyze and design solutions for financial risk and regulatory reporting systems
- Contribute to solution validation with end users
- Monitor closing processes (monthly/quarterly) ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery
- Investigate analyze and resolve incidents proposing both short-term workarounds and long-term fixes
- Participate in production monitoring and support activities
- Actively contribute to an Agile organization (backlog definition prioritization ceremonies continuous improvement)
- Be available for on-call support when required (nights/weekends)
Technical Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Finance or Economics
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services / Reporting environments
- Advanced SQL (mandatory)
- Python (professional usage)
- Excel (advanced)
- Solid IT systems knowledge
- Strong understanding of Banking Finance Risk and Regulatory Reporting
Language Requirements
- English Fluent (mandatory)
- French Nice to have
