Role at a GlanceWalterFedy is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our expanding Edmonton this position you will collaborate directly with architects on a variety of projects as a valued member of our Architectural team. Acting as a critical link between architectural concepts and completed construction you will help ensure that designs are realized into buildings that are both functional and high performing. Your technical expertise will support our architecture and engineering teams throughout all phases of project development contributing to the design and successful delivery of award-winning facilities for our Love This Role IfYou are eager to learn and willing to invest in have passion for design construction and the design tools that you will be take pride in the quality of your work with a passionate are hard-working self-starter and a team You Will DoLead interdisciplinary collaboration in the planning execution and design development of architectural projects ensuring alignment with requirements quality standards budget and timelines through site visits surveys and integration with civil structural mechanical and electrical advanced knowledge of architectural systems engineering principles and codes to ensure compliance and quality in design deliverables while mentoring junior technologists in new techniques and standards through advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and guiding them in applying architectural or engineering systems to working detailed drawings and specifications from rough sketches with constructible design solutions aligning with and maintaining design drafting for intermediate projects and lead smaller ones under senior survey needs and gather building condition information assigned design tasks reviewed for standards and time allocation and ensure project completion within set accurate project drawing sets with defined in project planning to meet budget and schedule with cross-departmental associates to address project Revit work including model setup and contract administration duties such as review of shop drawings related to the fabrication of construction elements for accuracy development of RFI responses and supplementary information as with various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the team and company a strong commitment to our company values of quality client focus teamwork sustainability and community integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues clients and You Bring to the TableDiploma in Architectural/Construction Engineering Technology or related of 7 years of experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of aptitude for architectural design execution through construction in Revit AutoCAD Microsoft Suite and other relevant design understanding of building codes regulations and industry leadership communication and interpersonal -oriented approach with a focus on precision and to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks atWalterFedyAs a national innovative multi-discipline design and construction collective our ambition goes beyond great design we are here to enhance the world around us.
