About the Role:
This is a rare opportunity for a true entrepreneur to build and run a mission aligned revenue generating business inside a respected nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities. The Social Enterprise Operations Manager will operate with the autonomy and accountability of a small business owner while leveraging the resources stability and purpose of a nonprofit environment. Key Responsibilities
Business Operations 70%
Operational leadership of a for profit service line within a nonprofit structure
Develop and refine workflows that ensure efficiency quality and compliance
Create and manage employee schedules to meet service demands
Build and maintain vendor partner and community relationships
Implement process improvements that support scalability and long term sustainability
Budget & Financial Management 20%
Develop and manage annual budgets for the business unit
Monitor revenue expenses and profitability
Create quotes pricing models and cost analyses
Ensure financial alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
Client Facing & Bod Proposals 10%
Meet with prospective clients to understand needs and present service offerings
Prepare and submit competitive bids for contracts and service agreements
Represent the program at community and industry events
You Bring:
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience owning or managing a small business franchise or Business Operations unit.
Strong operational leadership in a fast paced service driven environment
Experience creating quotes pricing and proposals
Hands on experience with scheduling staffing and hiring
Comfort with financial oversight including budgets and P&L style thinking
Ability to lead change and build systems from the ground up
A mission driven approach and respect for the needs of adults with developmental disabilities
