About the Role:
***This is not a Marketing or Fund Raising role***
This position is designed to strengthen and expand our social enterprise efforts by placing an entrepreneurial operator at the helm of a revenue generating business unit that directly supports our mission. The Social Enterprise Business Administrator will function with the autonomy and accountability of a business owner while aligning with our organizational values compliance requirements and long term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations 70%
Operational leadership of a for profit service line
Develop and refine workflows that ensure efficiency quality and compliance
Create and manage employee schedules to meet service demands
Build and maintain vendor partner and community relationships
Implement process improvements that support scalability and long term sustainability
Budget & Financial Management 20%
Develop and manage annual budgets for the business unit
Monitor revenue expenses and profitability
Create quotes pricing models and cost analyses
Ensure financial alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
Client Facing & Bid Proposals 10%
Meet with prospective clients to understand needs and present service offerings
Prepare and submit competitive bids for contracts and service agreements
Represent the program at community and industry events
You Bring:
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience owning or managing a business franchise or Business Operations unit.
Comfort with financial oversight including budgets and P&L style thinking
A mission driven approach and respect for the needs of adults with developmental disabilities
*** Experience in the following areas will be beneficial: Food Service Landscaping Janitorial services Fulfillment and/or Document Imaging.
