Product Analyst
The Product Analyst supports the Product Management organization by gathering data documenting workflows and assisting in backlog and reporting processes. This entry-level role is focused on building analytical and documentation skills while ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely product information.
What you will do:
- With supervision work with R&D Quality Manufacturing Regulatory Clinical Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success.
- Data & Insights: Collect and analyze basic product usage and performance data under guidance and support data requests from Product Owners and cross-functional teams
- Track and report on product KPIs with supervision highlighting trends and anomalies.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Draft and maintain release notes user guides and workflow diagrams and ensure documentation is accurate consistent and easy to understand
- Assist in preparing materials for transfer-of-information (TOI) sessions.
- Product Operations & Process Improvement: Assist with Jira backlog hygiene (ticket readiness proper tagging consistency).
- Build and share simple reports or dashboards to support team visibility.
- Learn and apply Agile best practices through collaboration with Product Owners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Act as a resource for commercial and support teams by ensuring documentation is accessible.
What you need:
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Data Analytics Business Analytics Data Science Computer Information Systems or similar technical degree preferred.
- Relevant experience of 2-6 years in Product Analsis and/or Product Management
- Demonstrate ownership and integrity of work.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables formulas charts).
- Strong technical writing skills (drafting release notes guides and process docs).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles (terminology ceremonies backlog flow).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker at the user level).
- Basic Jira or backlog management tool navigation (creating/editing tickets filters).
Travel Percentage: 10%
