Position Overview
A large accredited hospital in Central Florida is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to join its Vascular & Interventional Radiology team. This role focuses on performing advanced interventional and neuro-imaging procedures in a fast-paced angiography environment supporting critically ill to acutely ill patients across the adult to geriatric population.
Shift Details
Schedule: Days
Shifts: 4 days per week (days determined by hiring manager)
Hours: 10-hour shifts 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
On-Call Requirement:
Weekdays: MondayFriday 5:30 PM 7:00 AM
Weekends: SaturdaySunday 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements
Key Responsibilities
Perform vascular and interventional radiology procedures in an angiography suite
Support imaging procedures across multiple clinical areas including:
Neurological
Thoracic
Abdominal
Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal (nonvascular)
Peripheral and venous access
Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately while adhering to departmental and hospital policies
Provide care to critically ill through acutely ill adult and geriatric patients
Demonstrate awareness of patient age functional level and clinical condition
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist required
Registered Radiographer (ARRT-R) required
CV Registered preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology (Special Procedures preferred)
1 year of experience preferred (less experience considered with strong prior imaging background)
Experience in Interventional and Neuro Radiology strongly desired
BLS certification required within 30 days of start
ACLS certification required within 6 months of start
