The teacher will nurture students self-expression while integrating Indian art heritage and contemporary visual literacy into the classroom.
1. Teaching & Learning (CBSE-Aligned)
Plan and deliver experiential art lessons aligned with CBSE learning outcomes.
Develop technical proficiency in various mediums including sketching painting sculpture and graphic arts.
Implement Art Integrated Learning (AIL) by collaborating with other subject teachers to make academic concepts visible through art.
Differentiate instruction to support diverse artistic abilities and ensure an inclusive environment for Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
2. Curriculum & Artistic Development
Design engaging activities that cover Indian Art History.
Promote appreciation of Indian Folk and Tribal Arts (e.g. Warli Madhubani)
Encourage creative problem-solving through traditional crafts digital art and sustainable "wealth from waste" projects.
3. Assessment & Documentation
4. Collaboration & School Engagement
Collaborate with the academic team to execute school-wide interdisciplinary projects.
Organize and curate annual art exhibitions school beautification projects and inter-school competitions.
Participate in professional development workshops and contribute to school assemblies and cultural celebrations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Fine Arts (BFA/MFA) from a recognized university (specialization in Painting Sculpture or Graphics).
Specialized certification in Indian Folk Arts or Digital Art Tools is an added advantage.
Eligibility & Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience Compulsory.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Middle or Senior School (Classes 612) Preferred.
Familiarity with preparing students for CBSE Class 10 & 12 Board Practicals.
